John Ferguson, vice-president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Monday that the club has signed forward David Ling to a one-year contract. ?David is an established veteran forward, who has played for the organization in the past, and we welcome his return as we continue to add depth and experience to our group,? said Ferguson. Ling, 32, played last season with Moscow Dynamo in the Russian Super League. In 42 games he collected 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points, and added 91 penalty minutes.
